Day 01: KOLKATA - BAGDOGRA - KALIMPONG: (79 Kms / 2 hrs)
Depart on your flight from Kolkatta. Arrive Bagdogra airport and you will be met on arrival and transferred to Kalimpong. Kalimpong - "Nestling in the lush green mid ranges of the Himalayas, this hill station of "the Raj", has an incredible stunning backdrop of towering snow capped peaks. This exotic town of beautiful people, mystical and enchanting, with a rare ethnic blend of hill people, has a tradition of hospitality from the days of the mule caravans of olde." Rest of the afternoon at leisure to relax and explore the town on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: KALIMPONG – GANTOK (77 Kms / 2 Hrs)


After breakfast Visit Mangal Dham, Durga Mandir, Hanuman Top, Dello, Pine View Nursery- Also known as the famous Cactus nursery, this nursery has turned into one of the major places of tourist interest. Situated in the outskirts, this nursery is home to almost 1500 varieties of cacti, Dr.Grahams Home- Dr. J.A. Graham is one of the pioneers of the development of Kalimpong ever since its beginning. It was through him that Kalimpong gained popularity throughout Europe., Nature interpretation center - This is an Ecological museum set up by forest dept in the year 1990. Visitors must stopover at this museum for getting a fair idea about the wildlife of the hills, Golf course, Buddhist monastery, Rishi Bankim Park and Zelepla View point Back. Return to the hotel. Check out in the afternoon and depart for Gangtok. Arrival at Gangtok - Gangtok ("top of the hill"), capital of Sikkim state, lies at 5,600 ft. It was the seat of the kingdom of Sikkim until the monarchy was abolished (1975) and Sikkim became part of India in 1976. The town, a market centre for corn, rice, pulses, and oranges, was an important point on the India-Tibet trade route via Nathula (Nathu Pass), 21 km northeast, until the border with Tibet was closed in 1962. Check into the hotel. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: GANGTOK
After breakfast visit Rumtek Monastery - located at a distance of approximately 24 km from Gangtok in Rumtek, is one of the most important sites for almost every Buddhist. This monastery was originally built in the 16th century, under the supervision of Wangchuck Dorge and with the financial assistance of the fourth king of Sikkim, Cable car, Botanical Garden, Do-Drul Chorten- the biggest stupa in Sikkim, is located on the hill hock, which is adjacent to the Tibetology Institute. Popularly known as Phurba, this stupa was built in 1945. This holy stupa was under the auspices of head of Nyingma sect of Tibetan Buddhism, Trulshik Rinpoche., Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and Cottage Industry. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.


Day 04: GANGTOK:
After breakfast excursion trip of Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) - located 35 km away from the city on the Gangtok-Nathula highway. This highway is also a part of the old route that links India and China. Worshipped by Sikkimese, this holy lake is approximately 20 km away from the Nathula Pass, while located at a distance of around 400 km from Lhasa. The water in this lake has been accumulated from the melting snow on the mountains located nearby. The river Lungtze Chu originates from this lake, which meets Rangpo-chu down its course. According to the history, the colour of water of this lake was studied by Lamas so as to forecast about the future. They believed, if the water had a dark tinge, it indicated an year full of trouble and unrest in the state.

Tsomgo Lake is located in the restricted area for which tourists require an Inner Line Permit. This permit can be obtained from the Police through the travel agent or Tourism Department. Return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: GANGTOK DARJEELING: (98 Kms / 2.5 Hrs)
Breakfast at the hotel. Later in the morning check out and transfer to Darjeeling – Darjeeling "The one land that all men desire to see, and having seen once-by even a glimpse would not give that glimpse for the shows of the rest of the world combined" - Mark Twain.
Nestled among the rolling mountains with the glistening Mt Kanchenjunga towering over the azure sky, Darjeeling fondly called "Queen of the Hills" provides a perfect gateway for those seeking to be in harmony with nature.


Day 06: DARJEELING
Early Morning at 0400 AM visit Tiger Hill - Tiger Hill 11 km from the town of Darjeelingis the summit of Ghoom, the highest railway station on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is famous for spectacular sunrise view over the Himalayas. Leveling out at 8,500 ft (2,600 m), Tiger Hill is the highest hill in the immediate surroundings.
Later on the way back visit Ghoom Monastery - Called Sakya Monastery, the monastery located 8 km from Darjeeling. Sakya monastery is a historic as well as significant monastery of the Shakya Order. The original monastery was built during the early twentieth century. Return to the hotel. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute - (HMI) was established to encourage mountaineering as an organized sport in India., PNZ Zoological Park, (closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetean Refuge Centre- a rehabilitation centre for the Tibetan refugees in the Darjeeling Himalayan hill region (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Ava Art Gallery and Japanese Temple. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.


Day 07: DARJEELING - BAGDOGRA: (93 Kms / 2.5 hrs)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning free for personal activities. Later transfer to Bagdogra airport for your onward journey
