Day 1: NEW DELHI – PARWANOO (272 Kms / 5.5 Hrs)
On arrival at New Delhi airport your will be met on arrival and assisted to your car. Proceed by car for Parwanoo- located very closely to the state of Haryana. Just as you step into the state of Himachal Pradesh, the town of Parwanoo comes in. It has been transformed into a busy industrial area from a merely small village gradually over the years. Parwanoo is taken by the tourists as their base wherefrom they travel to various places located closeby. Arrive Parwanoo, check into the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the town. You can visit Renuka-a beautiful lake and considered to be the largest in Himachal Pradesh, Subathu- The famous Gorkha Fort is of prime attraction of this place, Dagshai- The place houses an ancient church amidst the track of pine and deodar, Pinjore- The intricately designed sprawling gardens of the Mughal times can be found here, Kasauli- It is famous for the Monkey Point. The hill station has got its own appeal. Overnight at the hotel
Day 2: PARWANOO – SHIMLA: (88kms / 2.5 Hrs)
After breakfast take a short trip to Timber Trail Heights - Beauty. Tranquility. Comforts. Whatever is your reason to visit this postcard perfect part of the world, Timber Trail Heights has all of them. Situated at an altitude of 5000 feet atop the Shivalik Ranges, the resort is accessible by a Cable Car which in itself is a unique experience as you get the aerial view of the beautiful mountains. Return to Parwanoo at noon. Check out and proceed to Shimla. Arrive and check-in at your hotel. Later in the evening, take a stroll along the famous Mall road. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: SHIMLA – KUFRI – NALDEHRA – SHIMLA:
Breakfast at the hotel. Later In the morning take a tour to Kufri; the winter sports centre- a tiny hill station located 19-kms from Shimla. Some great Hiking, some skiing, some beautiful scenes and a cool environment that's what Kufri is all about. It is famous for its trekking and hiking trails. Adventure-seeking travelers throng Kufri in winters to enjoy skiing and tobogganing along its snow-covered slopes. The Skiing season spreads between November to February and the tourist inflow is at its peak during winters. Continue your tour to Naldehra; The rolling greens of Naldehra in Himachal Pradesh are par for the oldest golf course in India. This is an unusual course, perched at a height of 2044 metres, strewn with boulders, trees, and little hillocks. Return to Shimla. Overnight at your hotel in Shimla.
Day 4: SHIMLA – MANALI (247 Kms / 4 hrs)
After early breakfast leave for Manali. Have lunch at Mandi and pass the scenic Pandoh Dam, enroute to Kulu where you can shop for Kulu shawls and caps. Then proceed for Manali and check-in at your hotel in the evening. Manali Just 40 kms away from Kullu to the north, Manali is situated near the end of the valley on the National Highway leading to Leh. The landscape here is breath taking. One sees well-defined snow capped peaks, the Beas river with its clear water meanders through the town. On the other side are deodar and pine trees, tiny fields and fruit orchards. It is an excellent place for a holiday, a favorite resort for trekkers to Lahaul, Spiti, Bara Bhangal (Kangra), and Zanskar ranges. From temples to antiquity, to picturesque sight-seeing spots and adventure activities, Manali is a popular resort for all seasons and for all travellers. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: MANALI – ROHTANG – MANALI
Today we drive towards the Rohtang Pass in taxis (Buses not permitted beyond a particular point) - Rohtang Pass (3979 m) is 51kms. from Manali on highway to Keylong/Leh. It offers a panorama and spectacular mountain view. The pass is open from June to October each year although trekkers can cross it earlier. It is a gateway to Lahaul Spiti, Pangi and Leh valley just as Zojila pass is a gatway to Ladakh. There are a beautiful sight of glaciers, peaks and Chandra river flows down in the Lahaul valley. Slightly to the left are the twin peaks of the Geypan. to enjoy the breathtaking landscape and play in the snow too. Return in the evening to Manali. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: MANALI
After breakfast, take taxis to visit the Tibetan Monastery - There are 3 newly constructed colorful monasteries, where visitors can buy carpets and other Tibetan handicrafts. Two are located in the town and one at Aleo on the left bank of Beas river., Hadimba Temple - Manali has many attractions but the chief centre of interest, historically and archeologically, is undoubtedly the Dhoongri temple dedicated to goddess Hidimba, the Bhim of Mahabharat fame. It has four-tiered Pagoda shaped roof and the doorway is carved with legendary figures and symbols. This temple located amidst wooden forest of deodar is about 2.5 kms. from the tourist office. It is a pleasant experience to stroll in the temple complex which was built in 1533 A.D., Vashistha Baths - Vashist, a small village located on the left bank of river Beas towards Rohtang pass is worth a visit. It is renowned for its hot springs and temples. Nearby is the pyramidal stone temple dedicated to Vashist Muni. There is another Temple of Lord Ram here. Natural hot sulphur springs with two separate bathing tanks for gents and ladies are always full of tourists. Turkish style showers fitted baths have also been built nearby. Hot water from the nearby spring is provided for bathing.. After lunch the bus will drop you at Mall Road for shopping.
Day 7: MANALI
Breakfast at the hotel. Entire day is free at leisure. Those interested can indulge in rafting or parasailing. One can take an optional Manikaran tour - The town is an important religious site for people of both Hindu and Sikh religions. There are many temples and gurudwaras that are located in the place and one can see large crowds in the area at any time of the year. Its location, close to Kullu also Manali make is a popular excursion from these cities. Besides being panoramically surrounded by the Harinder Mountains, the prime attraction of the town is its hot springs that are located in and around the place. These natural springs are a rare phenomenon and the region surrounding the town is also beautiful. It is possible to have a dip in these hot springs and many tourist and locals frequently cleanse themselves here. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: MANALI CHANDIGARH: (120 Kms / 2.5 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed for Chandigarh - A fabulous city, which shows an outstanding brilliancy of planning, is divided in to 47 sectors each of them is intertwined by well knit roads. Shopping malls and busy markets characterize every sector. Its carefully set out parks, awesome buildings, concourses and streets flanked by continuous line up of trees and bushes make Chandigarh a dream destination. On arrival, check-in at your hotel at and relax for the rest of the evening. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 9: CHANDIGARH DELHI:
After breakfast, take a short tour of Chandigarh city visiting Rock Garden - An embodiment of imagination and novelty, the Rock Garden in Chandigarh is a rare scenario, which cannot be equated with anything else. Only one of its kinds, the garden is put up with the urban and industrial wastes. This wonderful artwork is the innovative creation of Nek Chand, a former Road Inspector in Chandigarh. Molded in the form of an open-air exhibition hall, Rock Garden is spread over an expanse of 64 acres. It displays various sculptures made up of broken ken glass bangles, china ware, discarded fluorescent tubes, clay and coal. Walls of terracotta pots and the maze of paths, canyons and chambers proffer the glance of a dream world. The fantastic 14 chambers with a waterfall, puddles, statues of animals, birds this garden helps one to stretch ones imagination, Rose Garden - he largest rose garden in Asia, started in 1967, Zakir Rose Garden is spread across a vast area of 17 acres. It exhibits all types of rose plants numbering up to 1,600 plant varieties. It is not just roses that this garden houses, but it is also a hub of rare plant species, which has got enormous medicinal value. and take a boat ride at the lake - A pictorial spot, this pretty watercourse is a safe haven for exotic migrant birds, which makes this place a delightful location for bird watchers. The chirping of these bird folks fills the surroundings with melodious music. After sightseeing proceed to the airport for your onward flight
